Taking a overnight cruise around Ko Phangan gives you enough time to explore this beautiful island with it’s scenic bays, secluded beaches, coral reefs and hidden waterfalls in the nearby jungle! We will have several stops for swimming or snorkeling off the boat and lead you for a short jungle walk to one of the cascading waterfalls where we have a refreshing dip surrounded by pure lush jungle! A highlight for most of our guests!
Multiple day sailing safaris are our speciality and passion. After being one of the first exploring this area by boat many years ago, we do know where the best spots, most beautiful reefs and less touristic places are! It’s a real adventure every time we head out on a cruise, it is never the same, every trip has it’s highlights and surprises, so our self as well as our guests come back with unforgettable impressions!
Taking one of our smaller yachts means our guests sleep on land in beach bungalows while the crew sleeps on board! The classic sailing boat SANORA can accommodate up to 4 guests on overnight, the classic yacht GERONIMO takes up to 6 guests and our sailing catamaran DREAMCATCHER gives you all the convenience of live aboard for up to 5 guests! The atmosphere sleeping outside on the deck under the stars is mostly the highlight for our guests on this spacious ocean cruiser!

What to see and do:
We will sail you to remote bays with soft sandy beaches, visit waterfalls, amazing viewpoints, visit a cave and do snorkelling in some of the best underwater sites in the world. Watching sharks by snorkelling off the boat is one of our highlights! All this activities will be given to you by our skippers as a option and its you who decide on the day what you like to do, helping out as crew, take the helm or sit back and enjoy listening to the sea is all your choice and we strive to make the best out of it!
After all, activities and destinations are very weather dependent, so flexibility is important! The weather conditions during the year around Samui is quite very favourable for sailing and in case of changes there is plenty alternatives to choose from!
My hat must tip to Kunta, the German owner of this amazing company. Initially, I was a reluctant participant on a 2-day cruise around Koh Phangan but, I must confess, I'm so very glad I was convinced to join this adventure! We were taken to some of the most amazing beaches, swam and snorkeled in crystal clear waters, ate some incredible food in hidden locations, bathed in waterfalls and rockpools, shared a cold beer or two with some great people and completely unwound as we sailed back as a setting sun gave way to a crimson-colored full moon. Kunta is a very personable and professional operator with almost 30 years of local knowledge and experience so you're in extremely capable hands with him and his crew (Samui Ocean Sports & Yacht Charter)! This is the ideal way to de-stress if you're a workaholic, absolutely perfect for explorers and adventurers alike and/or anybody who prefers a long term local's perspective on the best places to visit on Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. Our best experience in Thailand so far!
We had the experience of a lifetime in our 2 days tour around Ko Phangan. Weather at time of departure was overcast and somehow windy, but Kunta the company's owner, was there, on site, to advise us and explain the situation. You can see that he, and his crew have first hand experience in navigating in this area. After 45 mn of crossing toward Kon Phangan, the wind went down and the sky cleared up, as Kunta expected. First experience for my wife and my 9 years old daughter at sea. Nobody was sea-sick aboard. Ray, the skipper and the mechanic who acommpanied us were extremley professional and very discrete. They adapted the route to us and were very adaptable. They are really serious, and knowledgable at sea. Both gave first class recommendations for places to have dinner and snorkel, showed plancton at night etc.... If you have to choose one activity around Ko Samui, we strongly recommend that you choose that one. It is a very good option to discover secret places aournd the islands in very good conditions.Thank you Ray, and Thank you Kunta. We really do expect to come baclk again for another trip !
We just came back from a five-day-trip onboard Geronimo. We are a family of four and most of us never sailed before so we were slightly anxious, but BER and BAO (our skipper and boat boy) did a great job. They explained a lot and gave us unbelievable experiences. And even though the sea was quiet rough on the way back, we we enjoyed every minute. We saw all the amazing bays and spots on Koh Phangan and Koh Taos east coasts and swam the coral sea. We had the best time ever and we recommend everybody to experience the Gulf og Thailand from a boat with Kunta and his team. Kunta made the booking easy and greeted us when we arrived. Smooth sailing😃
We just came back from a 4 night/5 day trip on Geronimo with Beer and Bao as our crew and it was a fantastic trip. It was very easy to organise the trip and Kunta was very accommodating. We spent time at Ko Phangan an Ko Tao with some pretty amazing beaches and some great lunch spots. The food at banana hut on Ko Phangan was fantastic. We cannot speak highly enough of the captain Beer. He was very professional but also very accommodating in our requests and always made sure we were looked after. Bao was also fantastic and spent time entertaining the kids. Unfortunately due to bad weather we missed the marine park but still had a great time going back to Ko Phangan for more swimming. Would highly recommend this as a great option when visiting Ko Samui.
To start, kunta was very professional and easy to deal with. I was supposed to do this trip one year ago, and got an infection that forced me to cancel last minute. Kunta kindly carried my deposit over to the next year without any hesitation. Truly showing what an honest and straightforward businessman he is. Beer and Bao were our captain/crew on the ship for 3 days. They were amazing! We sailed from Samui to Ko Phangan to Ko Tao and back. We loved all of the incredible beaches and restaurants they showed us! A gorgeous waterfall too! This was the highlight of our trip to Samui and can not wait to come back and sail again. A reservation is only final after a 50% deposit is paid!
For half day and sunset trips the full price has to be deposited to finalize the reservation.
This payment is not refundable!
Balance 50% due on on arrival in Koh Samui.
Refund & Cancellation policy
In case the client cancels within 3 days before departure, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged for day and overnight charters and 100% on half day or sunset cruises!
Less then 3 days before departure 100% will be retained!
The company reserves the right to cancel/postpone the trip due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather). If the company cancelled because of bad weather conditions, the departure can be rescheduled within 72 hours, or the client can change to a later date, or full refund will be returned.
