Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing water sports and has taken the world by storm. Its fun, easy to learn, and a great way to explore the beautiful coast lines. To learn to paddle board is easy and anyone, young or older, can do it!
Samui Ocean Sports is the first sailing yacht charter company in Samui to introduce this amazing adventure activity off our boats. Now on a day or overnight charters to Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and the Angthong National Marine Park, you have the possibility to enjoy, next to activities like sailing, fishing, snorkeling and swimming, paddle boarding as well.
SUP is now available on all our boats for a rental fee during the stop over time on half day, day and overnight charters.
If you are a first timer or beginner our crew will give you a brief lesson on how to engage in this activity. During the stopover, when the activity is offered by our crew, they will instruct you to follow a route or stay within an area so as to be able to monitor both snorkelers and paddle boarders. Life-jackets must be worn at all times for safety.Advance booking of paddle boarding activity is highly recommended so that we can arrange for the boards. On day tours rental boards can be utilized during the stop over for scheduled activities. On overnight tours, the rented SUP equipment can be utilized on all stopovers, provided the weather conditions are optimal and within the time schedule of the charter.
We highly recommend you to book paddle boards on your overnight charter as this offers a great opportunity to explore and view the breathtaking shore lines of the surrounding islands of Koh Samui up close.
